Carol and Erik's Memories

Created by Betty 10 years ago
We would like to express our condolences on the death of your father "Ron Miller". Erik and I enjoyed meeting and spending time with Ron and Bill at Janice and husbands home in Canada this past summer. It was very special to be with Janice and her siblings. She and her husband are long time friends of ours. Your father expressed how much he was enjoying the lake, nature and local area history. You could feel his interest in everything he learned. He knew he need to keep written notes to retain new facts. And he did. We knew he was not well but he did amazingly well touring about with Janice and Bill. We sat around the evening campfire sharing in our common interest of geology and sailing. He also confided in us a bit of insight about his career in computing. It was interesting to learn that his decision to not move to PC's professionally proved to be very lucrative. As fewer and fewer experts were left to work with mainframes he found himself in greater and greater demand. Who new? Our thoughts are with you at this time. Saying goodbye is not easy. It is our belief that ceremonies are very important in life, especially ones that mark a loved one's passing. Important that is for those of us left behind to help us with our grieving. We send our support to friends and family attending any Colorado memorials or ceremonies.
